About the Position:
We are looking for an energetic, positive individual for a part-time position as the Accounting & Payroll Assistant at our office in Avila Beach.

Responsibilities:

Provide general support for accounting department.

• Payroll – process biweekly payroll and assist with onboarding and other HR tasks
• Accounts Payable – enter and pay bills
• Accounts Receivable – enter and make deposits, ensure prompt payment of invoices
• Maintain financial and property filing system
• Monitor bank accounts and keep up-to-date
• Provide support for management team
• Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or two-year associate's degree preferred (equivalent work experience will be considered).
• 2+ years of accounting and payroll experience.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, at times competing, priorities and independently problem solve.
• Ability to maintain flexibility, demonstrating composure while switching between tasks efficiently in a rapidly-changing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Sage 100 (previously MAS100) experience a plus.
• Ability to follow oral and written directives.
• Must pass aptitude screening test.
